I spent much of last year working with pencils and many erasers as I studied drawing faces. I am taking a short break from those, I need to step back and come back later. In the meantime, it’s on to colored pencil techniques. I think I am going to love colored pencils! They pull in aspects of drawing and painting all in a convenient little package. These are my first studies:
